Stephen and I picked a ton of cucumbers from our garden last week and I finally got around to canning them. I've never canned anything before so it was pretty entertaining. I managed to burn four fingers on one hand with boiling water, there was dill and garlic everywhere in our kitchen, and I managed to make the biggest mess. But it was all worth it when I heard the sweet sound of the lids starting to pop.
